WHAT IS BLACK SWAN?

HISTORY

The Black Swan Society was originally founded in 1985 and was comprised of over 200 historians, afficionados, collectors and fans of the music of the First Generation of Rock n' Roll and the Vocal Groups of that era.
 
In 1988 its founder, Mark del Costello, started producing concerts based out of Los Angeles and Richard Bluestein took over Black Swan. In 1994 Richard moved to Florida and Lee Jolles became the new president and the membership renamed their organization - PHGA - Philadelphia Group Harmony Association.

In January 2008 Mark del Costello was asked to return to producing concerts and the decision was made to name the new company after the old one - BLACK SWAN.

Now the Black Swan Society is an idea - an organization to which anyone can belong and there are no duties, no dues - only a love for the music of the First Generation of Rock n' Roll and Vocal Harmony - Doo Wop.

Black Swan Productions LLC is a service company producing, preserving and promoting the great artists who created Rock n' Roll.
